I actually had that same piece as the first piece of reach armor I built. But I had already done a MK VI suit.
I ended up not even needing it, but I made it incase, cuz im buildin alot of reach helmets to go with the suit

That is really cool. I made this one because I planned to use it as a test piece to see if I could actually do pepping and I will admit that I had a lot of fun putting it all together after all the pain of cutting it out. My knuckle was sore for two days after I finished putting it all together.

Ok here is the rest of the pics for the helmet attachment that I have been working on.

I'm actually going to leave this as it is and put it on display in my room for myself to encourage myself to work hard to make the armor.

Ok, so I finally got the printer I needed to print out the armor pieces I want to print out for my armor. Recently I was asked by a friend to build him a set of Halo armor and told him that I would first need to find a scaling method that I could use to scale my armor so I could use it as a universal scaling method for other peoples armor when I start doing mass armor builds. I already read the thread on scaling methods but I don't think they will be of much help to me. If anyone has a scaling method that they think might help me to scale my armor I welcome it.

Ok so I haven't posted on my thread in while because of school and I've been working on my armor. I had to make a last minute change to my armor, but I've finally started making progress on my armor. I originally was going to do a Noble Six ODST armor but at the last second I changed to the E.O.D. helmet. The ODST helmet has too many small parts so I picked the E.O.D. helmet instead. So now I'm making a Noble Six E.O.D. ODST armor. Here are a few pics of my E.O.D. helmet progress:

Ok so I originally said that I came up with a scaling method that used the width of a persons head. Well I was wrong. You can't scale armor pieces using the width of any part of your body. The armor pieces come out too big. For example, I adjusted the width on the E.O.D. helmet and then built it, after I had finished pepping the helmet my little sister mentioned that it looked a little big so when I went to try it on it was in fact too big. So what I guess I'm saying is that if you plan to use the scaling method that I came up with DON'T. It will only work on the cod piece and maybe the chest armor, I haven't checked yet. I will get back with everyone soon on this.
