hi! , If I remember its at 300 micron layer height .
So far Ive got this in a day from prime dice "001"
all the "003" s are done.

I am SUPER excited about the chest. Ive ran the math . I am NOT gonna need a 2ed printer !
Its master spread sheet time ( Ill add it to the first thread too)
Here is the chest breakdown
Sooo I have 15 parts outta about 60 ..Ive not Diced 002 or 004 so I dont know but I assume 12 parts too.
( spoiler alert!!!
My goal is Kumokon in early sept .)
So I am pushing this a tad harder . Most parts take 3H a pop as these are small thin parts .
Ive gota missing shoulder plate and I need to figure a way to make boots .
this gives me a few weeks for soft goods and glassing
"Capt cupcake" is on target ...
I dont see this going over 9 rolls of plastic at this point . on No7 right now half done
25 a spool so far 225 of plastic
paint wise I am in 6 cans of " lightish red " * snickers * so 25 in paint .
Fiberglass and epoxy is not known .I have it here in my spare bins so a price is hard to pin down.

I had a brill Idea . Ive got some of these in blue ( as you might have seen in the Shin pics above)

these in the black have that Hexagon effect I seen on the H4 armor Undersuit . I just need a matching top and Volla proper wicking stuff!
Yea its a tad light in color more of a grey, I may just dye it a tad with RIT.
In fact I think my local Fred myer in town has them .
EDIT .looks like they dont have a top in the same color .

This looks awesome man! I really cant wait to see it finished personally i would 3d print too because i like the detail and symmetry but sadly i dont have the money to do so.

Ive been busy! more chest. I am gonna reprint the middle front 003 part as it was kinda saggy.
I am really glad I did not blow $1250 on the chest from shapeways. I can Milk 2 Conventions with that kinda cash.

Printing is not as simple as it looks ...... 100 + parts to glue and mate .
Its a fun challenge that is for shure
I just did something that is Soooo Donut... No only can Donut decorate and cook . He can partyyyyyy..
I slipped in some speakers in to the pods./

The printing is the easy part. Getting the files right and ready is not. If I had the time to learn the software and how to do it all I would buy one. Do you print in solid or have you been using honeycomb for the inside?
It would be awesome if you did a quick write up of how you turn the pep files into printable parts. You don't need to go into details of the program or anything. Thanks buddy.
