Looking good! That is a lot of sanding but it looks like it's turning out really nice so far. Can't wait to see it farther along. Keep up the good work!

Bloody hell im getting sick of this thing! lol. I may just leave some battle damage on it so i dont have to sand so much hehehe.
Oh so ive got bondo over most of it and sanded mostly smooth. Ive trimmed the mask to allow for the pipe attachment points. Gave it a quick undercoat to see where the 'Battle damage' is located.
A quick question to anyone who tuned to this station: Spot filler. Ive heard people use it before, but what do you use? Is it a 2 part epoxy filler or something like that? (Ill try and find a noob thread and post there as well)
Well im close to being able to paint it now thankfully (Have to find a craptastic visor to cut up first.). My plan will be to primer, paint in silver/chrome, then lay down toothpaste/tomato sauce in areas where it will have chipped paint. Then ill drybrush it on the raised areas to give a worn feel. I might even try some adding some paint texture... we shall see.

You might have seen this already, but here's mine:

Also I used plastic packaging and a black sharpie for my visor. (Tip: colored side is on the inside of the helmet, make sure you put a second piece of plastic over it so your eye's wont absorb the vapors)

nice work.... my printer just pooped the bed was a epson r380 too but oh well i guess ill pick up another one 2morrow and finish printing off the recon pep file

Oh my god, I just had this vision of Armor in a toy like package, and then I saw the horro of it all...
It amount of twist ties the manufacturer would put on it. *shudders*

great build so far i'm more of an enclave guy myself. dont get me wrong I side thit the brother hood I just think that hellfire is better, hellfire or lucas simms sherif duster and hat and a .44 magnum
Cheers man. Its currently sitting in the second coat of primer. Im thinking after one last attack with the sander ill call it good enough
I need to look at the details now like the ears and mask pipe attachments etc.LOL. Im vicious with twist ties now, cut them off then never have to think about it again.
Thanks man! Yeah i kinda like the agressiveness of the Enclave armor too. But then the buckets are too cool

No fallout 3 traded him some blastermaster armor via pickpocket and stealth boy for his duster and hat you can get it if you kill regulators toIi think it just isnt the same though it would make you EVIL!

Ah gotcha! I was playing it for quite some time and didnt go back to Megaton much, except to dump junk.
