I bought a 75ft roll of 1" nylon strap off Amazon and just did some measurements. Modeled my rig off the one N8TEBB did for his tutorial video with some minor changes.

Started painting and prepping pieces. Slight disaster struck. I dropped my chestpiece and it partly shattered. Gonna humpty-dumpty it and try to reinforce it.
Started working on the helmet details. Did a little weathering. The red handprint over the mouth actually has a meaning. It's one of the symbols for the MMIW (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women). Since I was making my armor native themed, I thought this would be a nice and meaningful touch.
Finished base paint on leg armor, waist, and arms. Still need more coats on the back section. I also had to make an extension for the chestpiece since it wasn't closing on the bottom. Made hopefully the last of the rigging. I also picked up some kneepads at Harbor Freight for $3.50! This make attaching the knees super easy.
Oh boy...very busy weekend. Finished sewing the harness (will post pictures later). Started doing more detail work. Had to make some creative compromises due to lack of time. Hopefully everything is finished by Saturday SDCC.
Oh boy. I've been busy. I finished putting the final parts together for the rigging. Started and finished the wiring for the chest lights and the helmet fans. All USB powered with disconnects and switchs. All that's left is the ab wrap, some foam work, and the black wash for the armor. I'm almost there!
