Looks awesome!!
Mind sharing the weak points you had?
Just wanting to see if it may be something I need to address before wearing mine for the first time haha
Sorry, I've been busy. I guess I'll start from the top.
Helmet:
-need to buy proper anti-fog solution for visor.
-make more solid encasements for noise amp mics.
-better noise insultation for around it.
-mount mic for voice amp better.
-put some padding over or on top of fan covers.[The fan covers I made were resting on my head and it started giving me a headache.]
-fully encase wiring so nothing gets snagged and damaged...again.
Chest:
-make sure straps/buckles are more easily accessible.
-cover wiring better.
-make LEDs more secure.
-move speaker for voice amp away so it doesn't cause feedback.
-remake soft armor on sides.
-move switches for LEDs and fans lower so I can actually reach them.
-get a new battery pack that doesn't AUTOMATICALLY TURN OFF for some reason!
Harness:
-make sure all sewn pieces are strong.
Shoulders:
-use a more permanent bond for straps to pads and harness.
-add a more secure mount for both pads.[Don't use velcro. I wanted to make it modular but that plan backfired.]
Ab wrap:
-make a texture insert of something to make it look accurate.[I used a wetsuit I cut up.]
Belt:
-Hard-mount to belt on the harness.[I had it just sitting on top and it ended up slipping down.]
Thigh:
-remake a size larger.
Shins:
-remake a size smaller.
Boot armor:
-more permanent bond for straps.
Shotgun:
-more permanent bond for back of forend.[The glue I first used didn't hold.]
Alright. I think that's everything for my to-do list. Thanks to everyone who watched along this project.
