I'm always right. And again - what's your paper size? We already established there IS no 'normal' size - you either have A4 or Letter, depending on where you live.

However, in Pepakura it's Configuration > Print and Paper Settings. After that I'd assume you're intelligent enough to work out the difference between Landscape and Portrait.

HOWEVER.

Depending on what the file setting is (Landscape/Portrait), you merely need to change your printer's setting so it prints to the same setting that Pepakura is set to.

ok well i got the little box to go away that says "your printer dosent support the scale change scale?"
any way heres the specs on the pre sets.
height 265mm
width 231mm
depth 342mm
scale 0.253260
so im wondering if this is correct?

The scaling looks correct except you should, depending on you're head size, scale the height up to 280mm, the other dimensions should automaticaly re-scale its self. Leave room for fiberglass and padding :p

I always get that darned message saying something is wrong with the scaling. When it askes if I want to change the scale, I click no, everything turns out OK.

Just make sure you measure your head for the propper size, use glue, and make sure that you use the correct paper settings (portrait, landscape) and make sure the parts are not over laping and are not touching the lines indicating the edge of the paper and the "cut off point".

CHEERS!

Hey dude. Just a few things I thought I'd add, even though tape might seem fine at first, it will pay off in dividends to use glue the whole way through. I've had my share of troubles with tape, and when I switched to glue it was so much better. It allows for much more detail to be added to your piece and if you use the right kind, it can add some strength to your folds. I personally use a kind of super glue called "Gorilla Impact tough" It dries rock solid and sets in about 3-4 seconds for maximum time efficiency. But I can also vouch for the Mod Podge. I use it to finish the outside of my pieces. It offers a nice clear shiny coat but is also good to use as a glue for tabs.

Oh, and to answer you scaling question, some people like to use formulas for their pieces, but sometimes it's just best to measure you body part and put that measurement into the "height" box. Like for instance, my forearm is roughly 27cm long, so I would put 27cm or for pep3 270 mm. You could then build it, and see if it fits you good.

Hope that helps. If you need any more help be sure to pm me and I'll try to help as best I can. ;)

Mod Podge ftw! It works really good and I have successfully used it. Ya, I use it to glue the tabs then go over the outside with it.

How do you not know what size of paper the US uses >.<
And would it kill you to use " Correct " grammar while typing?
Like capitalizing I and America, and spelling Obama right.

WHHHO O OK i seem to have fully peped a fs HD helm and here's some pics of what is left over oh i also have some triangular tube things as well (not pictured). So the next step i would assume is modpoging the entire inside and outside and then fiber glassing and bondoing and sanding and primering then using two different coats of paint to scratch it and make it look rugged?

well it seems im just talking to my self here since nobody wants to post well fine then.
i just need one thing if at all possible- any one have a HD pep file of an H3 shotgun and is it pre scaled?

why the triple posting ? you need to chill and wait for people to respond, dont post every half hour

"Hey Dude, take a chill pill, if you don't have a chill pill take a chill strip! Just chill."-Vic RvB.

But please show pictures of it not fitting, if it truly doesn't fit, then start over. It happens to everyone on here.

hmm well i might be able to trim the bottom any way thanks for posting i almost went bonkers especially when my cpu took a dump like 30 min ago. on any account i just needed people to aknoledge what ive done and to give tips on what to do next.

Don't give up man, I'm on my second helmet ,3 set of arms, and second set of chest and COD piece. It takes alot of work but it's worth it in the end.
