wow, you sure are parinoid about loosing your files! lol. thata nice computer. the comp im using is a few years old and it a family used one. im guna build my own soon. ive put aside E2,000 (2,956.00 USD) for it . yea, it was realy weird from my point of view, i died and my hud dissapeared appart from the raydar but i could still walk around n see everyone else playing. very very strange. video is 'unreliable' unfortunatly. "It has much better music than mine does (but then mine has no music)" hahahaha, that had me laughing in work. yea, i relised 13 minuites was a bit long with nothing in the backround making noise. im using a free program called 'debuet' i think. heh, yea i used movie maker as well, couldnt get premier in work up and running. yea, i think i will record the rest, it seems prity popular, hahaha.

YEAY! the computer appears to be fine and so does xbl (i had to test it thoe just to be sure ) n all the models are safly backed up in multiple places. im guna try get another run at the mrk V this weekend (maby tomorow. hmmm.... *looks around wondering if anyone will notice if im not in collage*) n ill record the process 'for your viewing pleasure' n ill stick summore music on there too. ill see if i can find summore funny tracks to slap in there.

My home computer is a family computer as well. Only thing is that I'm the one that uses it most of the time, and they blame every computer problem on me (not the fact that it's a Piece O' Crap), and expect me to fix it.
Almost $3,000USD! Mine's under $1500USD. I'll eventually upgrade to 8GB of RAM, and get another monitor, but that will only add another $250USD. You'll get a damn good computer for that much.

Glad to hear your computer's working again, and you didn't lose everything.

How about a tribute to your heritage and mine for the music? That's right I'm part Irish...along with everything else, but when I grow out my beard you can see that tinge of red, haha.
Put some old Irish drinking songs in there, haha. Or at least some Flogging Molly.

hey there it is! i looks like a permiation when its at that stage. oh crap. the one where its on you, it looks a teeny but small. :\ did you use the size tester before hand? its kinda hard to tell at this stage so i could be wrong(hopefuly i am). and if i am, let us know what height you used for it.
oh you upped it?! oh then there shouldnt be any problems with it. but then again ive been so buisy modeling n workin that i havnt had a chance to work on my own one so i dont realy know.

No I didnt use the tester just because I am low on card stock so I tried to do some major research with other people to get the best guess possible. I thought for a long time it was small but if you look at my avitar you can see it is pretty much the same size if not exactly the same size so im no too worried about it at the moment. But I am around 5'8.5'' - 5'9'' (for the longest time I thought I was 5'10'' and I dont know why... maybe thats why everything on the last suit started big) and used 40.6 for scale. I was gonna leave it but decided just up it alittle to be on the safe side.

Damn you FS, you know now i have to build your helm, and your chest,, will i ever complete a full suit??

my helmet history...
i first made a helmet with the halo1 ripped files (before i knew about this site) it was too small
so then i wanted a better file to work with before i tried again, so i edited that old file to make it closer to halo2.
i built that one in the proper scale, resined and fiberglassed it, smoothed it out, but messed up on a detail.
around that time the beta halo 3 files were flying around, and Sylfo had relesed his pepakura file. i waited till i got the file, then played around with a new trick, making the pepakura file smooth. i relesed MKVI smooth, but soon noticed some flaws, (halfway thru building) i fixed them then re-released it.
i was almost finished with that one when my cats destroyed half of it, i re-printed those damaged pieces and finished...
now, it looks like im gonna have to build flying squirls too, so i can get the best detail as possible...
i also had all of the halo 1 armor pieces done too, but threw them all away in favor of the new stuff..

lol, NEVAR! wow, thats prity close to wht happened to mee except i had the halo 2 mode n it was kittend who destroyed it. oh and i did the struts thing instead of the smooth thing. i havnt had a chance to do any acuial pep modeling latly so im well behind on that front. you thew away a mrk v suit?!?! aww!

If you are planning on buying a computer, wait as long as possible. The price has gone down on this build about $100 in less than a month.

i know it's a bit off topic but anyone using vista should be aware your system will run allot faster with win xp due to the new updates for vista makin it run really slow, i've done tests on my mates pc which has vista and hated it so won't be adding vista to my machine for a while yet, so on another note how's you getting on with your current model robo.

yea, im guna stick with xp for the moment. the amount of problems and programs that cant work with it are staggering for a released product.

well, i had a ground breaking experience yesterday, i actually quit a game! did you know it give you a funny little msg where you can click 'yes, im a quitter, penalise me'?!?!?! how weird is that?!?!?!?! oh and the reason i quit was that everyone on my team seemed to be preoccupied with killing each other rather then actually, ya know, killing the other team and the like. anyhu, it was a weird experience and even thoe my team were a buch of a$$holes who, as it happens, i had to mute i still felt bad. thankfully BTB is now ranked so there will be less of that crap. *hatred twards TKFTs*

aaanyhu on a lighter note, bunnyumptious is commin up this weekend n were guna go crazy with the who 3d max stuffs so you can expect ether a finished Mrk V helmet or atleast another vid to while away the time between xbl sessions. oh and for those of you who wanted the arbiter file im just tidying the mesh atm. it wont be hd or anything but it is the cut scene model from halo2 so its prity detailed already.

Forgot to say that I'm going to have a XP and Vista installed on my machine. The only reason I'd use Vista would be to play Halo 2 Vista, or something else "Vista Only". I might even just say "Screw Vista. I'll just spend the extra $110 on something else." My uncle runs a local ISP/Computer Repair place, and he's going to install XP, Microsoft Office, stuff like that, on my computer for free. I could buy another 4 gigs of RAM for the price of Vista. Eventually I'll have XP, Vista, Linux, and OS X installed on it, but I'm keeping it a bit simpler to begin with.
