Here you go. The last costume I made is Gregor from the Clone Wars. I made the Predator and Mando helmets as gifts for my bother and his wife.

Snazy paint jobs. I really like the hand painted digital camo. That looks like it would have taken awhile.
Question, is that a light on the inside of the Gregor helmet? I'm asking because I'm planning on making a Venator variant for my first suit and that strip thing looks perfect for the helmet situation that I have been trying to brainstorm. I'm thinking I could make the black part of the visor more like sunglass material and then have the actual "eye slits" be just lights, like you used. Any ideas having done something similar?

The digital paint took me three months to do. The light is EL tape, you can buy it at radio shack. If you cut the eye holes into the visor material then adhere the el tape to the backside, it should work.

So, is this a Halo 4 chief build or a FOD build, cause that's a Package/FOD MkIV Helmet.

The visor is mounted and the paint has been weathered. Items left; padding, fans, and lights.

Nice! I really like the speckle effect. I think it adds a lot of depth to a piece. How did you get darker areas..? Like in the last picture, to the left of the white spot and another a little further left on the visor and again above the rectangle cutout above the ear.. Is that a side effect of the speckle job which if memory serves me you just spray the paint in the air and wave the piece through it.. Either way it looks cool!

I applied water to the helmet. Then lightly sprayed the paint and lightly wet sanded it.

Wow, water and spray paint. I never would have thought of that. Wet sanding too. Looks there are some more techniques out there that I will need to look into.Thanks!
I was going to mention this before, but in the future, you may consider "quoting" or @ and then the person's exact screen name when you are answering their question. I'm subscribed to this post so I check all new posts, but others may not realize you are responding to them. Don't worry though, I'm new to forums too, hence my signature. lol

Now that the helmet looks to be wrapped up, what's your next focus for the build?

I finally finished the LEDs for the helmet. I'll mount them later his week.

I don't think they are too bright. It's a weird medium.. you want them to be like flashlights, but you also don't want to blind people. I'd say if you're in a dimly lit environment with other people just switch them off for their sake, but all other times you should be good. I've found a fabric template for the neck seal before. I can take a look for the link if you need it.

Quick update, I have the material to make the neck seal and have received the glove armor from Dutch props. I'm hoping to post some pics this weekend of the gloves.

Nice work. I am also working on my first build. Halo 4 MC. I have a Silhouette Cameo I didn't think about using it to do the hex pattern

Aceso, you mentioned you have a Cameo, you may already know this but you can cut all your pep with it, it will save considerable time. There is a very well done tutorial on the site
