Love it! I'm attempting a foam version of the Halo 4 pistol once my armour is finished.
I have a resin cast pistol i'm using for an Expo in September, as long rest of the armour is finished. I presume, making it your way would be alot lighter than a resin cast version of it.

This is where the battery was located on the gun which is concealed by the laser
part5-1.jpg
I was thinking I could use a toy helicopter for the power cell and also use the charger this way I can lose the 9v battery that was making the front of the gun way too heavy dose any 1 think this could work?

i think its amazing how u used wood for the gun, it makes it look a lot smoother in the end. probably a lot easier than using cardboard XD oh well...

So I've finally got a working spring packed trigger :) all I need to do now is get the laser trigger operated but I dont want any electrics in the hand grip for easy disassembly so the switch will be on the main body of the gun

This is where I would like the switch to be

Love the build, especially the trigger movement.

Aside from looking really cool, what is the intent of the laser? For safety, they don't allow those at conventions. A red LED through a pinhole would look just as good in pictures, but not get you in trouble.
