MAJOR UPDATE
So after redoing the design many times with different sized hexagons(i think i am done with hexagons for anoter 10 years) Keep in mind, EACH of these hexagons is had carved with my dremel, cutting through hexagonal graph paper(link here) I had to buy this high speed cutting tool for my carving
This is what i have come up with

This is another sheet that i did with hexagons slightly bigger
I have made a plaster mold of it which turned out exceptionally well( compared to original)
I am still deciding on whether to try and cast it in latex or urethane rubber, any aleternatives or opinions from the community are appreciated
Now i can give my fingers a rest:rolleyes
