"Help!" for: Papercraft or Pepakura

I'm using the Recon Helmet file by Belakor and smoothed by Macattack64. I checked that it is set to Letter, and I am using the default scale of 265 mm high. However, when I print, a window pops up saying, "The paper size... Pepakura Designer is not...printer... rescale?" This has never happened to me before, and all my other files are not like that. What do I do?

When you go into Pepakura, be sure to go to "Settings > Printer and Paper Configuration." I've left my pieces on Letter sizing and so far for the two Peps I've done, they've worked fine. As long as your configuration is set to the direction that your printer readily recognizes, it should be fine.

My printer has only given me that message once before, so... Either I accidentally hit the wrong button, or I fixed it, I'm not sure. I'm still learning too!

I thought that i have read to connect pieces of the cardstock pepakura, i need hot glue, but my dad said that it wouldnt work. What do i use?

IMHO, I'm using glue sticks. They're easier to work with because I can put a little bit of my finger or a toothpick and work on the little flaps.

I've heard a buch of good suggestions like hot glue, super glue, and tacky glue, so it's all pretty much your weapon of choice.

Click "ignore" or whichever option is equivalent to that. This may lead to parts being cut off, however.

There are tons of different glues you can use, almost any will work, including hot glue. The main limitation is that it mustn't be dissolvable by whatever you use to harden the model.

you are rude, and you sent me a link that had nothing to do with my post. i didnt say, " hey anyone want to give me their opinion, and be completely un-helpful?" usually people are very helpful and nice on this forum... so if anyone here is reading this, and understands that the Plasma Repeater, Focus rifle, and Needle rifle are hard to come by pepakura files, and know of where to find them, i would much appreciate the info. im not sure in a needle rifle pep file even exists, but ive been informed that there is a focus rifle and plasma repeater pepakura, and i cannot seem to find them using the magic search bar. again, i thank you for your time, and i hope to hear from you soon

I'm very sure they answered you to the best of their ability. Calling someone rude for not giving you what you asked for in a reasonable manner is actually rude in itself. Posts merged with appropriate thread.

GA and Hyo aren't being rude, just straight forward. There are many people on this sight who are "new" to this site, or "noobs" as more commonly referred to, who ask questions without really doing any, or very little searching at all. Now, if our majic search bar didn't help you then maybe you should try googling it. If that doesn't work it probably doesn't exist. Maybe your informant could help you find it. Don't mean to sound rude or anything but posting smirky little comments won't get you anywhere around here. Best of luck to you.:)

Since no one else was able to point you anywhere... search for Satchmo III's file thread, I think it has one or two of the files you asked for. If it doest, it does have some covie weapons in it and they are nice models.

wondering if anyone would know where i could get an astronaut/cosmonaut/spaceman helmet Pep file, if such a thing does exist haha. ive always wanted a spaceman helmet and figured pepping one would be fun.

Hi everyone! I'm Frank, and I'm starting armor for Emile hopefully tomorrow, but I'm using paper mache. I've been looking for tips all over the interwebz, but have been coming up short, even on he 405th... It may not be anyone's expertise, but this is papercraft. Does anyone know where I can get some links or tips on how to detail and stuff? How to make the head cast? Mypersonal deadline is Halloween, but I don't know if I can make it :( if anyone can help, please do. Thank you. -Frank

Hello out there. I think this is my first time posting on these forums, and if I'm breaking a rule, I apologize.
I've been teaching myself (with the help of this website) how to make armor, and I haven't gotten much further than pepping. The problem that's come up is I was going to make the pair of Mid-Def mark VI gauntlets modeled by Flying_squirel. But when I go to rearange the pieces while scaling, it comes out all black and looks like snow/static on an old TV. I don't have internet or a printer at home, so I have to put the scaled model on a PDF and take it to the nearest office supply store (30 miles) to have it printed. I've trouble-shooted the problem and found out it only does it when I move any one piece. Changing the size of the paper or pieces doesn't cause the black-out effect. I've only had this happen on one other file (Sword from legend of Zelda). If someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong, or tell me why it's doing this and how to get past it I would be very grateful. Thank you for your time.

Hey, I'm sorry to bug people but I need some help with some pep files.
I fully intend on getting the full pepakura program as soon as I can, but right now I'm still surfing for files to at least view them.
I'm looking for female MVI armor (aka 'Kat' armor) for the chest, cod? and thigh pieces. I'm getting started with some of the materials, but I would love to have the pep files printed and ready to go as I'm really itching to get started on the build.

I tried researching this on my own, but I couldn't seem to find anything. I am on a mac and the pepekur viewer is for PC's only. Is there any alternative or will I have to use Boot Camp to run it?

That or have someone scale and save them in PDF format for you.

I have another question about pepekura. When I open up a file in pepkura I can't get it to display the numbers to tell me where to attach the pieces. I can't figure out what is wrong even after reading all of the tutorials.
