Don't knock it though man, test it out and see if it fits, another option and it ends up costing the smart in the ling run is smoothing 325(? I think that's the number, correct me if I'm wrong guys) basically takes the place of resin and glass ans makes the piece plastic. Look at Thorn's build somewhere on here, he did that and then bondo'd over that I think. Same end result, all viable options though.

Didn't he get booted from the band recently though? I like their new stuff but much prefer the oldschool with XX and XIII J-mann was better than the new guy in my opinion. But that's just me. Idk about the name tho, I can see where it would be offensive, but not everyone has good taste in music, lol

Major update fir this weekend guys, got my wife's helmet 90% finished.

Here are some pics of my progress from the last couple days.

Here I tried painting silver to try something that didn't pan out. Wanted to use toothpaste and cover corners and edges and then paint the primary coat on. It worked fine just the color my wife chose for the helm didn't work right with this color silver.

I used epoxy putty to fasten a bolt in place drilled a hole in the visor and then fastened it in place with a bolt. Used Blackula's tut for reference

Well my helmet liners arrived yesterday and my wife's helm is now oadded.

Here is a shot of how it lines up with the visor it fits in there very nicely.

I have to stick some foam ear pads in the sides of the helmet so the helmet sits right on her head but otherwise I got that all taken care of.

Quick question, which visor is that? That's exactly the color of face shield that I want to use in my helmet, is it the HJC mirror blue one?

Thanks! Was beginning to wonder if anyone like the helmet or not, hadn't gotten any comments yet.
Yeah man I plan on putting leds in the helm, already got it worked out I just need to get solder. It won't need fans, I left a gap where the top of the visit meets under the helmets brim so there will be plenty of airflow.

I actually like the color scheme for the helmet, and the blue visor goes very well. The only thing I would do, and maybe you just haven't gotten around to it, is paint the "nose" portion black. I notice you've painted all the areas black that are black on the game model, the nose is the only thing that is not black. Maybe you prefer it this way, and if that's the case, ignore me.

Great job thus far. It's cool to see a couple taking on this type of build. My wife eventually wants a Dare outfit minus the helmet (she wants the data link headset that Dare wore under her helmet).

I tried to darken it up with a wash but I might just break down and paint that all black. And a Dare build would be sweet! I didn't want to do any canon characters though, I like mixing it up a little

Since my helmet is rogue its a bit bigger. does it also needs M size ? do you have a clue? better asking than buying the wrong size :O i have no expirience with it so ...

Well, Idk I got a medium since its for my wife's head. Hers is considerably smaller than mine so I guesstimated. I used to play football and I wore an extra large helmet so that's what I got for me and I just guessed she would be good for two sizes smaller than mine and I happened to hit gold. I have no more advise to give you than that man, I hope it helps.

They definitely weren't bad for the price and they even come with ear muff pieces, they probably won't work with this helmet without modification but I have them if I need em. The visors weren't cheap but you can't expect that for good quality ones

Not to derail, but go to a motorcycle store and try on some motorcycle helmets. No better way than actually putting something on your noggin.
