I haven't introduced myself either... Even though this thread has been around longer than I have, I just noticed that I'm not in it.
So anyways, down to the nitty-gritty.
Name: Tristen. Tsau-mia is just something I invented about ten years ago because I thought it sounded kinda cool.
Profession: Shop-owner, Graphic Designer, Artist, Costumer, Service provider. I do what people want me to do, lol.
Age: 24
Location: Washington State.
Hobbies: Art, Halo, Suit Making, Spider Solitaire (wow that's lame), biking, hiking, dancing, well, whatever takes up time and involves not being bored. I don't really have a lot of things I don't like to do. Except running. I can't stand running for no reason.
Favorite part of halo: The controls. It has top-notch controls for a first person shooter, easy to use, yet difficult to perfect.
Favorite Halo: Halo 2. It's what got me started on this whole mess.
Favorite video game: I don't play them very often, but it changes all the time. Currently I'm working my way through Too Human, then I might play all the Halo Games in a row.
Food: Home-made mexican food, or restaurant Mexican food in California. Not here. There's not enough real Mexican's here for the food to be any good. They make it too bland.

I'm working on a fully replicated undersuit. Check out my thread. I've made a helmet (like three years ago) and I just picked it up again to see what I could have done better. Nice to meet everyone!

What brought you here?
I decided to join up the 405th finally, I have sort of secretly wanted a MC/Spartan armour since I realized people where making it. I was always scared off by the fact that you needed to do fibre glass and such. This is not something that my living situation allows for much (if any of), now that you can easily make most of your gear out of other materials I am excited and all game!

I teach at a local high school and several of my students have come together to start creating Halo Costumes. Since this looks to be the start of some really great work I decided to find the best community I could to share our progress and give them the credit they deserve. I look forward to posting progress picture so the community can share your input and help these great kids express their creativity in such a great way.

Oh yeah, and I promised them if they finish the first suit before Halloween I'd go to one of the local conventions with them wearing the suit. Something tells me I just set myself up for years of quality blackmail. Next time I'll think harder before making promises.

Im not a halo fan, always been a Sony guy, until recently anyway. Been playing WOW:cataclysm as of late kinda taking a break from it for now though.
I been following alot of the work harrison crix has been doing. i started concept drawing a while back and i go about as far as getting some material for starting a physical model but had a falling out with the GF at the time so i was forced to wait for another time. So im starting over completely been looking at alot of this pepakura stuff, and currently downloading lightwave ATM so i can make 3D models that i can import into pepakura. any advice would be greatly appreciated. im about as entry level as it gets i do have a decent hand for crafting so nowhere to go but up.
Dont really know what else to say so ill leave it at that
