So, I suck at forums, but I'm determined as heck to build a darned suit of armour, so here goes nothing!

Name: Con badge name is "Minxie". Pretty much everyone but my family knows me as this. Or "Hev". Either'll do.
Profession: Currently none, but I'm working on it.
Age: 26. Dear gods I feel old...
Favourite Hobby: I have a very, very long list. Included in said list: Cosplay, writing, reading, performing, gardening, knitting, gaming, table-top roleplay
Favourite Halo: So far, the first - Having only played the first one with my brother, I'm woefully behind. My poor 360 is sitting neglected in a cupboard until shelves are installed to prevent my son from attempting to devour/dismantle/destroy the console.
Favorite Video Game: Way, way too many to list! I have a very eclectic taste in games.
Other Interests: I like long walks on the beach. No, really - I live quite close to one. Admittedly it's stones rather than sand (hey, what can I say? Sandy beaches here in the UK are few and far between!). I also enjoy visiting historical sites (I live roughly 5 minutes away from Portchester Castle).
Favourite Food: Pasta, sushi, veggies. And steak, preferably rare.
Other Notes: Other than how much I suck at forums? I'm a cosplayer new to the armour scene. Very new. So new I'm absolutely petrified. I can BS sewing, especially when I'm making something out of lycra. Something that involves potential use of power tools? Not so sure I can BS this. I'm also a crazy RvB fan (hence, the needing of making armour).

Just Starting to build my halo armor, I'm about 20 hours in have helmet peped and doing resin work now, working on pep pieces of the rest of the armor got biceps and forearms done. Been on forums for couple weeks just finally signed up and and first post. I recently went to my first con. and saw couple people with the Master chief armor and it inspired me to want to make my own. so hi and look v v
