Hello My friends call me Gunthar
So in 1985 I apprenticed as an armorer making and reproducing medieval combat quality armor for the reenactment community. in the last 27 years I have produced about 127 suits of armor from chain-mail to full plate as well as boiled and waxed leather. I have made countless suits of plastic beginner kits( a cheep low cost suit that provides adequate protection for new fighters to see if they wish to invest the time and money in upgrading to a more authentic suit.) friends of mine got me involved in the halo games darn them now I find my self learning all I can about halo armor and weapons. I have made costumes for my kids and now I find my self making one for me.
I work part time for a sign and wood shop for a cool owner who lets me use the shop on my own time. one of life's little perks. then at home I make real armor on my forge. I look forward to making new friends hear and learning new things as time goes by thank you for being hear for fellow nut such as I.

Hey guys! Im Eddie
I just happened onto your site when I was looking for ideas on building stormtrooper armor for the 501st. I have always been a big fan of Halo along with my son. After looking at all the awsome builds you guys have done, I was like forget the 501st lets go 405th!
After reading hundreds of threads and watching a bunch of youtube videos I cant fight the urge, although the amount of work is taunting. When I was a little younger I used to go to Dragon Con every year, back then it was nothing like it is today! I mostly game and I do alot of miniture war gaming. I saw some of these costumes and was wondering if my painting skill would transfer over to spartan armor. Hopefully tommorow I will be able to print up a few pieces at work and start peping them up. I am gonna start out small. just the pistol and maybe print up a helmet to get my feet wet. Wish me luck!

I've always felt that falling off the map on a level like Lockout should lead you to another part of the map that was otherwise inaccessable. It'd be like base jumping. You'd jump, drop through the clouds, pull your chute, land on another location, and resume kicking ass.
and yeah... I fell off Lockout a lot.

So here's a quick introductory to my predicament. Honestly I always wanted to do armor and was going to start off making an ODST costume. But then only about 2 weeks ago I found out that Rooster Teeth has an expo(RTX) in Austin in July and hastily found the motivation I needed to start a build on a Mark VI armor so I can attend as Agent North. So yes, right now I only have less than 2 months to finish this thing out I think I'm on schedule so far.

Favorite part of Halo: That would have to be the story line, but second to that would be the in-game action and the vastness of the Halo universe. And you know, also playing the game.
