From what I've been reading, they're only testing it tonight/tomorrow. They won't be using it at full power until sometime in October.

when a hunk of glass shatters, you just have lots of smaller pieces of glass....


As far as science knows, a proton is made up of: a proton. there is nothing for it to break down into...


I'm really excited about this, at best, we learn about the god particle, at worst, i did all that studying for upcoming tests for no reason.

Actually, science is damned sure that protons are made up of quarks, and there's a theory going on that quarks are held together with gluons.

its october 20 or 21st, either way, its just days before my birthday.


and if it is the end of the world, i have a few things to say to a few people before it happens (good and bad things)
 
after properly reading up on it its alot more exiting. this, from what i gather, is like discovering something as basic as gravity.... hang on... heh, that was ment to be an anoligy.

acuialy, on that note, i thought something that wasnt already at the speed of light couldnt reach the speed of light... is that whay its something like 99.999991 percent?

sorry im sorta a noob at this stuff, i just know what ive read... ive only been in physical science since the fall semester started.

We just got finished talking about background radiation and (coincidentally) Hadrons!

so maybe i know more right now that the average pessimist, but no fear, ill forget it in a few weeks.

(if im alive to forget it that is)

well i dont do all that stuff,

although...

Eggs are the highest source of natural cholesterol found in nature per exposure... so eat enough of them, get yourself a heart attack, then you wont have to worry about cancer.

as for 9/11.... dont get me started :)

off topic but ive been giving a friend a hand in an egg farm the past two days and i worked out that each day ive sorted and packed off over 12,800 eggs. its atcuialy quite sickening. i cant eat eggs anymore.
