Pepakura Mark V Mjolnir armor - Any and all advice welcome and appreciated

Hello everyone! This will technically be my second build but the first one (shown in my pfp) was made using a tutorial, so this is my first real attempt at this. I am using the fantastic pepakura template provided in The Armory and have been making slow but consistent progress.

Any and all advice, especially eva foam-specific is very welcome and would be greatly appreciated. Most notably, how to get consistent angle cuts?? So far i've just been kind of eyeballing it and fixing any potential mistakes by prayer and contact cement.

As for Good Cuts, make sure your blade is sharp. Most experienced foam cutters are very diligent about sharpening their blades, often in between every cut. You can get simple kitchen knife or scissor sharpeners at most Big Box stores. If you have the disposal income, there are also tools that have been developed and sold by specialty online retailers that are designed for giving consistent bevel cuts each time.

I don't have any special tools for making angled cuts. I just make sure my blade is sharp and I do the best to keep my cut consistent as I move along the foam. Practice makes perfect in this case.

I also clean up cuts with a Dremel tool before gluing. If I have a rough cut or an uneven one this is where I make sure they're all smooth before I glue them together. Using a Dremel to clean up the cuts means it is much easier to forgive a messy knife cut.
