Wellm because I covered the entire thing in Bondo, I'm using a drill with a special bit holding a circular sheet of sand paper to sand the whole thing down. I HAVE been using a dremel for the specific angles and curves I need.

im planning on making this one i love it
Wow. thats crazy lol. You should get a hand sander, or mouse sander.
Can you buy that somewhere, or is it homemade? Because I love the idea
You mean the drillbit? We already had it, so I'm ASSUMING dad bought it from somewhere... hold on, let me get a pic

I'm sure you'll be able to find one of these at a good hardware store. It DEFINITELY beats sanding by hand, but you gotta be able to hold the helmet incredibly steady, as the force of the spin tends to make it bounce around a lot.
You went to town with the bondo Swift! Good thing you have that sanding bit or you would have Arnold Arms by the time you were done. Ha ha. How much weight did it add to the helm?
I like the helmet! if you dont mind me asking, where did you get the pep file??
Nice, it looks like it's coming together well. I kind of wish that the Reach thighs had that inside part already in the pep file, but we're left to make it ourselves.
Thank you so much!!! That really helped. Ive been collecting files on my flash-drive for a while and i has some of these, but i got a lot of new ones. Thanks again
No problem man, just glad I could help
Well, bad news abounds. You know that thing we call the Australian sun? well, it's mean. Especially to a corrguted steel shed. Particularly, the corrugated steel shed in which I do all my work. What does this mean? That I quite honestly cannot stand being in there for more then 5 minutes before I start melting, and have to leave. I'm going to try again with all the doors open, but this probably won't be till tuesday, as I'm going to see Harry Potter with my friend.
the answer to your melting problem is in four words: insulation and air con
christmas time is SUPER SUPER hot where i live, infact on many christmas days i have since experienced, if you went outside, or even opened the door, for more then 5 secs, your dead. up to 40 degrees celsius, not fahrenheit all you americans . i am going to do most of my work now, while it is still cool here and i can walk across the yard and reach the car/shed to get supplies. but most of my work will be done inside.. in the cool, refreashing aircon... ahhh i love it .....
