Well, I guess you could repair that if you wanted to, and while you're at it throw some more reinforcement onto the rest of the pieces as well, so it doesn't happen again somewhere else. Probably would be less work than building another suit.

Oh I know fixing it will be less work. I think Maybe just remaking the shin pieces would be the best solution. They seemed a little big on the width as well and I thought I could fix that with padding but I guess not. I have at least from the thighs up along with a rifle for the costume contest tonight so I think I'm good.

I will post pics of the Rifle once I get done spray painting it.

Thanks. The rifle had like 4 coats of resin on it so its pretty sturdy now.

that damage is bad are you making replacements

Yeah I was thinking about making replacement thighs that are shorter and shins that are also shorter.

Did great work for your first pep, one thing I did thing was a little bit of an overkill, the scraped back paint for the damage effect, it just seemed a little to extensive. But other than that i think it looks great!
