Cool. The back was tough for me as there aren't many shots of the back. My best resource was a 6" McFarlane figure.

Yeah, I had a lot of trouble finding shots of the back, myself. What helped was I took a few screen shots from a couple "making of" videos I found on youtube. Helped tremendously!!!

Well awesome then! I'm not sure why there haven't been better files made for it. The suit is one of the best in my opinion. We do have the direct fit visors available for the FUD helmet should you decide you'd like one. They are very reflective and offer great visibility. Just throwing it out there. Either way, I'm sure it'll turn out great!

Speaking of the FUD helmet, I've searched a while back for the pep file but could not find it. Does anyone know where you can find it? I'm almost sure that's a cast of the helm in the above post. And by the way, great work so far!

Pretty sure the pep file for the helmet can be found in the pep files thread. Also, the cast helmet in that post was 3D printed, and did not originate from a pepakura file

UPDATE TIME!!!

Back from Dragon Con, so finally have time to post some progress and see what you guys think.

COD PIECE

This piece was actually pretty easy to build. The pep file was quite accurate to the movie, I just added a few of my own extra details to the front, sides, and back. I *was* going to detail the back much more, but kinda got lazy and said to myself: "who's gonna be looking at my butt, anyway??" lol. Check it!:

Update: A few progress shots of the back of the chest piece. Adding some foam details, and a bit of bondo to help smooth out some of my hack job of adding stuff lol. And I cut holes in the top of the shoulder boxes and by the chest locks for future foam detail additions.

Considering how much you altered the original pep file you used to make the torso, it does look quite incredible. Can't wait to see it painted up.
