Ahhhh so I did this quick number.

Hehehe even though I think it kinda looks like a Hand Mirror, I had to make the ODST laser locator. There were no clear picks of this anywhere, but I think it's kinda close

That's why the people that live call it HollyWeird, I spent 14 years living in the LA area, 14 very long years! The last time I was there it took nearly a half hour to remember my freeway driving combat skills, thought I was going to die. Looks like I'll be headed down that way the second week in May to teach a class, oh joy Note to self; must remember never not to volunteer before finding out where I’ll be going.

Now to get back to the thread, Skullcandy Girl, The renders are really looking great, nice work. Thanks for sharing.

it seems we have an arms race. Bioshop and Slavefive vs. SKG and NZ-TK.

Not at all, we all just share a common goal. I personally have no intention of making an ODST costume for myself, I just like modelling stuff. I have decided I'd like to make a set of Spartan armour though, I want a full white EVA suit in my hallway to go along with my stormy and soon to be completed royal and senate guards... anyway with their experience and tools, BishopX and Slavefive are in a different world.

So here's the closer step to the final 3D stage of the ODST armor. NZ-TK is doing a WONDERFUL job on the leg armor!! And was kind enough to end me his progress along with a human model and his ODST helmet so I could put everything together and form it to a human body better. I have a tweak or two left for the gauntlets, seam everything up then it's onto the pep stage.
