ODST,YORK(rvb), spartan2 halo4 build ideas.

SO I am currently making a ODST suit.
So far I have the ODST leggings and I started the right thigh piece and my plan is to work from top to bottom.

Well this is York, the Spartan armor im baseing towards. I am because I feel he and I have the closest personality match.



This is what I plan on doing to my York suit. To me it looks like it should be the freelancer combat rig.



This is the reference picture I am using for my halo 4 Spartan.



I may or may not do the helmet though, I cant decide yet because the helmet pep files are so complicated and I don't feel I can do it with my sausage fingers, only change on the Spartan is I may not do green I may do black and red highlights... I don't know yet... any suggestions?

please let me know what you all think about my choices in costumes.

I rather liked Agent York; he was polite even when asking the insurrection to hold the bomb and driving the getaway Warthog. A little bummed we won't be seeing him anymore.

@sarlume: I am too, he and I have the closest relatable personalities and I was seriously P.O.ed when he died, I felt like rooster teeth betrayed me, even though I know they didn't its just like "REALLY?!"

York was one of my favorite freelancers as well. I like the idea to make him a Halo 4 spartan, but IMO, you'll never get better than the classic H3 Mk VI.

I wasn't making York a halo 4 Spartan that's a separate idea, and I agree H3 MkVI was his best look

I see now. My first impression was that you were converting him. The color of the armor in the two pictures is pretty similar. Oh well.

ha ha, no but what do you think of my design for my Spartan 2? the master chief one (which is completely different from York)

like the color ideas, and the design?

Eh, it's black with red highlights. It's cool and all, but way over-done. That's just my opinion though; it's all personal preference.

I guess one of the reasons I though that was York was the scar over the left eye.

what do you mean over done? and I don't mean straight black, I mean like steel from halo reach with brick red

yea no its supposed to be the master chief but I didn't want to do that so I am doing a custom Spartan 2, and what do you mean over-done?

I actually meant like steel and brick (if you have halo reach, or 4 you can see what they look like together on armor)

I just mean that a lot of people in the past have created black/steel suits. There's nothing wrong with it.

going with Andrews builds huh, well when you get started on York give me a yell, due to I have project freelacers on my PC so files or pics won't be hard, just don't go all meta on us.

Neat! York was one of the more...agreeable freelancers. In a field containing so many firebrands, a cool head was a welcome character. I don't envy you tackling the Halo 4 suiting, it's a bit intimidating! You've got a clear vision though, and that's the best starting point. I wish you the best, and look forward to watching this develop!
