@ Everyone.
It's so cool to hear my stuff has inspired others to continue/start working on their own foam armor. I may not comment, but I stalk a lot of people's threads here. It's really cool to see what everyone's working on.
Actually, i got sick for five days last week. =_= When I got better, i spent two days sewing. woo. XD
I know right? LilTyrant is a bamf. I'm addicted to her thread like chocolate. I just wanna nom it. XD

^_^;; I'm too far in to go backwards... but i do intend on building a foam helmet. I've decided on GUNGNIR. I've had it on my multiplayer character for so long, it looks weird to have anything else. Despite the vision problem, I'll just have to deal with it.
As I've never been to Europe, i'm not sure. Try asking drack. He lives in Britain I think. >.>
Now I have to ask for help again. The shin pieces are a disaster. I don't think I can do them without pep files. Kyre, do you think you can make a PDF of the shin for me? O____O Pleeeeeaaase?
Until then, i'll be making my knee caps tomorrow. >.>

You really have to build a foam helmet now, so that we can all declare yours to be the best all foam build instead of Drack's
Seriously, this is amazing and very inspiring, giving a lot of us both motivation and confidence to work on our own armor.
If there's anything I'd comment on, it's the size of the forearm and upper arm pieces - they could be about 10-20% bigger to bulk your arms up a little and balance out the mass of the thigh and chest armor. But it's nothing serious and I'm sure you'll still look pretty good when you suit up

You can get foamies at amazon.co.uk, they do ship to other parts of europe too
Thanks, but in the mean time I've managed to get a US supplier who sends to Europe at reasonable costs if I order a larger quantity

woo gl! I WISH it was that hot out over here in vermont! 30% chance of snow tomorrow? No thanks.
Can't wait to see the painting progress! It will be awesome. Are you using plastidip and then acrylic?

I'm plasti-dipping everything, but I only got a few pieces done before the sun went down (I had work earlier...). Each piece had about 3 layers of plasti-dip. I'll be doing more painting tomorrow. Hopefully the nice weather will hold out a bit longer. But here's a preview of the plasti dipped pieces. The color painting comes after.
I spent the rest of the evening making final adjustments/edits, etc to the other armor pieces. They're ready to go for tomorrow morning.

Why is it that only our female members seem to be making the in depth under-suit WIP's??? (Not that I'm complaining, I'ts some of THE best work I've seen on here.) But trying to perfectly apply you're methods to a guy's body shape/style/(lack of feminine ingenuity?) is difficult and confusing (for me at least. Trying to follow you're example with your boots has been... harder than I anticipated for example. lol)
Long-winded semi-rant aside, I still think your work is absolutely amazing and inspirational to what could potentially be THE standard for our under-suits.
