things are going great, i think alle parts will be finished just in time in about a week.
just not quite sure how i'll finish the weapons...

At least i've finished making the last paper parts of the br - the scope and the last part of the front
The last details i've got to add in a later process, some parts are just too tiny to be build of paper

Everything looks great! It's too bad you're using my old Carter shoulder attachment file. I have a much more accurate file now. But, you've already glassed the one you built, which looks very well done. Keep it up!!

Im so happy i'm done with all my builds. wore it on gamescom in cologne today, it was really cool fast the people build swarms around us for photos

I don't have any pictures from the convention at the moment, but here are some impression from the wearing-test at home

We got some problems with the boots, so we decided to put them away at the convention

Nice work on everything man, I love that shade of yellow, very impressive work samurai!

Stuff looks great. But I DO want to add some constructive criticism. The armor itself is perfect. The weapons could use some more time in future projects, though. The BR has some crooked pieces and the shape of the AR looks a little off. Easy enough fixes. For the BR, you just need to take more time to make the piece's. 90* angles. The AR I think should have been 2-3 inches longer from the front grip's midsection. In the picure, you could see the yellow ODST has his hand on its front when it should be further back. Now whether the gun is too short or he isn't holding it right, I'm not sure, but the gun just SEEMS alittle off somehow. Overall though, I love it.

i will take a closer look at the length of the ar, you're right that in the pictures it seems a bit short

Yeah, I figured you knew about the BR. It's the AR that is harder to notice. I mean, it's perfect the way it is, but there is always room for improvement. I don't mean to sound like a jerk, just want to try to help make everything as good as it can be.

Erstmal danke fürs Lob

Insgesamt haben beide Rüstungen zusammen etwa nen halbes Jahr in Anspruch genommen. Wobei in den letzten 4 Wochen vor der Messe das eigentlich nen 24h Job war, also nach der Arbeit bis zum Pennen jeden Tag daran gesessen. Reine Arbeitszeit daran war bestimmt gut 100h.
