*GASP* To that I must give you a most heartfelt and emphatic NO!! If that's the case, you are not approaching this from the appropriate perspective. In fact, this should do the OPPOSITE! It should INSPIRE you to make great armor! I mean, really, look at how absolutely awesome that is!! Don't you want to be that awesome? Even half that awesome!??! Sevv has a good deal of experience, as well as an equally gifted partner, and he's actually SHARING with us!! He's also been so very helpful and generous with his advice in order to make us all better armor builders. So don't despair, little fledgling, instead revel in his genius and use it to your advantage!

P.S. I know what you really meant, you just gave me the opportunity to be more creative with my shameless compliments, so thank you ;)

Well it actually did do the opposit in all honesty, I just need to kind of take things back to the drawing board a little bit. AND your welcome for the chance for shameless compliments.

Thats one epic reply ShadoKat :) love it, thats very complimentary and thank you... I do hope people get inspiration from our sculpt. I see amazing artists here, over on the RPF and they inspire me to improve.

We started the arms 2 nights ago, done about 2 hours at this point. Still just roughing in the block shapes.. with the oven on continuously you can get a good steady stream of clay to slap on :)

Need to start somewhere.

I must say, you never cease to impress. Despite the early controversy, this definitely belongs in the elite section! You sir (and your helpers) have some serious talent! That chest is beyond phenomenal!! Seriously! Flawless!

More arm pictures. Quite a full on weekend trying to get the lower arms done. They are looking really good, symmetrical, almost feature complete. Amys going to do some more tomorrow whilst im at work... on a bank holiday Monday :(

and i have to ask, where abouts in the south are you from? i used to live in Plymouth.. loved it there! very 'countrysidey'.. hah the awesomness of made up words...

anyway, i shall continue to watch this project unfold!

Sevv how happy is your wife/sister/significant-other/room mate that you are posting pictures for the world to see, that contain her lounging around without her hair done or her make-up on.
Women have an odd way of getting really pissed off when that happens, without their knowledge.

*this broken edit button is playiing havok with my grammar*

Thanks everyone :) just put another layer of silicone on... GLaDOS wants you to have some cake :D

We are both really pleased with how they've turned out.

Girlfriend, she knew she was in the photo... she had already been around the table 3 times trying to aviod being in the photo, up to her arms in silicone and couldnt care less lol

We are away for a week on Wed night, when we get back right on with the upper arms. After a cast of these pieces of course, cant wait to try them on with the helmet!

Hah! nice. I'm pretty sure this qualifies more as a creation than a build. I can tell this is truly a labor of love, you didn't cut any corners.

You should bronze the suit when you're done.
