i dont care how much it costs to ship, Count me in, i am in US...

but we need to figure who we will use, us postal, or ups, fedex. etc... also we should make some sort of package requirement and use the same box, with foam padding so Nothing happens to the helmet.

Ok here's the deal when I get ready to ship the Helmet out it will either go to TX or MO first since Project003 is in TX and TH3 FETT MAN is in MO, when I get ready to send the helmet out I will list the order in which the helmet will travel so that it will save costs to send it to the next state. The shipping on this will probably be around $12-15 to send to the next state possibly less, a flat rate box would'nt work because for the size of the box it would cost more over shipping it out the regular way. I have talked to one of the senior staff and anyone with over 100 posts can be on this no offense to the people with under 100 posts. Meggawatts considering under your username it says banned, I am not sure whether to add you or not so I will await moderator or staff approval before adding you to the list. Silent Sanity thanks for the suggestions, the box I will mail the helmet out in will most likely be 12"x12"x12" and it will have air bags over packing peanuts to reduce the weight which will also make the air bags reusable for the next person to send the helmet out to the next person. Shipping would be preferred to use USPS (United States Postal Service) to mail it out to the next person but that is up to the person mailing. As for all who have chimed in so far with over a 100 post count you will be added, apologys to those with under 100 but you still have at least 1 week possibly 2 weeks to get your post count up, the helmet has only the left light section built so I still have a little ways, plus I still have to go all out detailing it but I am fast, efficent, and I get the job done right so I should be done in no time.

Yes a list can go with the helmet it will specify on the paper to write down the username, real name and state the person is in.

We all should take a picture of ourselves signing the helmet and then post them in this forum and someone with awesome photoshopping skills should put all the pictures together into one large collage and then have it printed out, and when it is being sent to bungie, put the picture inside the box or tape it on top of the helmet!

I will probably actually be making a collage of everyones images "if" everyone takes a picture not everyone may have a camera, if everyone on the list takes a picture I will do it but if not then it won't be done.

so.. if you dont have 100 posts you cant sign it? how long do you have to get 100 posts.. because i have only been really active for the past week and already have 50 some odd posts, is there going to be a specific date to have the 100 posts by.. and obviously legitimate posts...

I plan to be fully done building the helmet within 2-3 weeks so before the end of July, unless someone wishes to donate a cast helmet or pep helmet (no resining) if someone does that they would get a Halo Reach Silk Poster and a DVD of Halo Legends as a gift in return. Now if someone was to donate a casted helmet I would be done within 3 days but if someone donates a pep helmet it will take me less than a week to be done. I will make this offer however I will review any of the people who have posted in this thread that have under 100 posts still when the helmet is finished, if they have a good WIP with pictures or are in good standing with the 405th they will be added to the list regardless of thier post count.

I don't think post counts really matter, I think people will be most comfortable with what members contributed.

After a lot and I mean a lot of consideration everyone who has posted and everyone who will post in this thread if they have a good WIP or 100 or over posts they will be added. Now also I have decided in my best judgement to change the helmet from a MC Helmet to a Halo Reach LT Helmet which was the one that Rundown modelled so that Rundown will be able to be a part of this in a way as well, Charlieiscool12 is currently building the helmet and I am awaitng a e-mail from him to see what the status on the build is and hopefully he is near completion on the build. Once he is done it will take me 3-5 days to resin, fiberglass, bondo, sand and paint the helmet and it will begin it's long journey.
