Actually the visor had been connected to the helmet at the bottom. I used a rubber garage door seal to fill the gap. For the photos I took over the weekend, I'd pulled out the rubber, because it also made the neck seal and it was coming detached after comic-con. Ventilation-wise, the fan at the intake did a great job of keeping the right side of the helmet cool and prevent the visor from fogging up. At least until I broke the wire on day 2 . And the helmet is really quite spacious on the inside, there's at least an inch clearance on either side that I had to fill up with foam. The big problem is the neck hole at the bottom is a very very close fit that scrapes my cheek bones whenever I put the helmet on.
