I finally got the torso finished. Overall, it went much more smoothly than the previous one I built, and it fits a little better. Here's how it turned out...

I've got the section that fits under the torso covering the abdomen pepped and resined (no pics yet) as well. Next, I'll continue down the body with the cod piece.

Carpathia my friend, that is a very nice build you have there. It looks even better when its real!!! lol Ill definitly be keeping an eye on this build!

that torso looks great- the use of the foamcore to keep things straight was a good choice. i'll definitely be doing that when i make my chest. thanks again for those files too!

This is epic and I want your babies (for my sweatshop :p)
lol jk.

very nice job on the reinforcement job, too, it adds a little bulk to the armor that would be harder to add with rondo and resin...

Wow, elmers glue???? I used that with a practice helmet and I couldn't do crap with it. I use hot glue now.

Any update on the helmet soon?

Dude Carpathia! I am in love with this build. I wanted to start Carter but Iron Man was already in progress for me lol. Good luck with the build dude everything is amazing so far :)

Another quick update. Tonight, I finished pepping the cod piece. This is Rundown's file modified by me to include the side pouches, and since it's modified, I will not release it unless permission is received from Rundown. Here's the pics...

And here's a close up of one of the side pouches...

I was afraid that I scaled it too big at first, but I build half of the belt and tried it on and it looks like it fits fine.

I'm hoping to have an update on the helmet sometime in the next few days. All I have to do is a little sanding, some bondoing and smoothing in the back and it will be ready for priming. So, keep an eye here and let me know what you think.

you have got to talk to rundown about releasing the cod piece...i have two pepped and couldnt figure out why they looked a little off...now i see why...no pouches....i want that file so bad now

I actually modeled a cod piece that has side pouches, a more accurate ball protector, and a more accurate butt protector.
It seems kinda like its for a fat man, but I tested it on a thin man 3d model and it was perfecto!
Its under my name in the official reach pep threads!

Yeah, I agree that it looks like a large man's belt, but I had already planned on modifying it much like I modified the helmet. I'll likely make the groin piece more narrow and round the rear a bit. I'll also add in a lot of the missing detail when I bondo. I saw yours, and it's very good, but I had already modded and printed this one.

Do you mind sharing your scaling measurements for the cod and chest?

For the chest, I measured from the bottom of my rib cage on my side to the top of my shoulders and added about 1-1/2 inches (3.8cm) for padding, coming up with a measurement of 41cm. For the cod piece, I measured the width of my hips and added a few cm to account for the pouches. This width came to 46cm.
