DIY Mannequin?

Greetings!

I'm new around here and have recently decided on what armor i want to make for Megacon next year. There are a few things i'm going to experiment with but my biggest question is regarding a place to mount the armor as I shape the EVA foam I intend to use.

Is there a place I can get some form of mannequin for a reasonable price or is there a known method that I can use to make one myself? I'm confident in actually shaping the armor, but i want to have something I can strap the armor to while i'm making each piece and shaping it the way I want.

The short answer is, the cheapest, easiest way to get a mannequin is to make one yourself! It's been done many times by people here, with very good results:
