Now to get together the reference materials again.
Thanks for this. I'll be getting no sleep for a while
Also, if some kind soul will fire up their copy of Halo 4 and get some pics of the Pioneer helmet from the side, top, front and back I would appreciate it. I need detailing mainly for the front mask area as it protrudes forward. The top detailing. The neck detailing from back to front. The overall shape as it fits to the human head so I can make sure we have good fits. I plan to make sure I include in the release an actual padding inside and an actual adjustable chinstrap and head-strap assembly like in the ACH. I've been working on a pep ACH/OPSCORE assembly system that I was going to release here. It's a MOD-system that can use a modified front and side rail system to attach parts to make any and all helmets available in this forum and for all systems so to speak with a little work. I was working on this because I noticed that one of the things people often asked was how to attach armor or how to pad or rig armor or helmets for wearing comfortably without them flopping everywhere. As a former soldier and a former blacksmith, I've often had to solve these problems for myself. I thought I would offer a simple system for others. This will be an excellent opportunity to offer a chance to show what I've been working on. Now let's see if I can do it for real and not just talk vaporware. =P
Just in case some helpful soul decides to say "google it", I have. There some wonderful renders of the torso and helmet from three-quarters front and back but they lack in certain needed details that are needed to finish this as I'm certain Crimmson can attest to.
