try this one out see if you like it, the other version I made had the front plates mesh welded to the front of the helm, but it had such a thick lip that I did not like it, so let me know if this will work out for you.

I have the Older file you made of the helm above. I tell you what, it definitely was a pain in the rear to Unfold with the lips hanging over the eyes!

alright so my browser is acting weird and I am no internet ninja. I tried editing the previous post but to no avail.
here is the destiny Pandion type 1 helm, I have two versions
v1 is complete, indentation, protrusions etc.

and this is what I have on the burner cooking
it is about 60% done. it is mesh welded, seamed and symmetrical, just needs the final pass of clean up, and any details to add or remove. in this case the latter.

I guess I can, takes a couple of hours to do a Unfold. Would you be ok with me just specifying the edges of the model to be separated? All you would have to do is hit the Unfold button then all you would have to do is edit your tabs and arrange the parts as you like. And for the locke armor, are you referring to Agent Locke's armor from Halo, or are you referring to a armor from Destiny?

The hunter armor is on post 917, the helmet a couple posts back behind the chest i believe

In my Unfold thread the forearm and the thigh for the hunter armor is in there. I never got around to finishing up the helm unfold because its highly detailed. I was having trouble with chin\mouth area.

Which file are you working on for a Unfold? Also, you've given me a reason to dig up the Unfold Locke's helm. Might take a couple of more days. Got a lot of editing to do, since the parts count is at 483!:sick Will do my best to knock the count down, while ensuring that the Unfold will be done in a manner that allows the pepper to have the easiest route possible to piecing the helm together.
In the photo below you can see that there is probably around a hundred more pieces to sort through.(the parts floating above the organized parts):wacko

Ssooo how far along are ya?
I removed a lot of the protrusions and simplified the rest of the helmet, I left the indentations though. you should be able to make the raised areas with foam or balsa wood. the front cylinder area maybe pvc, or round wood stock. I believe micheals sells round wood chips.
