Lighting can be such a pain in the ass sometimes. I'm learning a new way to use a particle systems to generate clouds myself. Fall off maps are so dope too, they really add dimesion to reflective surfaces

I never got into VRay myself, I got hardcore into Mental Ray, I started to learn how to make MR materials, hahaha but I forgot already. Though Modeling is my main focus, learning different render engines helps

hahaha, yea cant blame you. i had terrible trouble on the sunset one getting the light colour right, it kept looking a bit apocoliptic. 'hey, does anyone else see the nuke going off on the horision?' i could never get he hang of coulds for some reason, they always just looked crap. oh well.

now theres one thing i never even tryed to figure out. there were always way too many settings for me to be able to get my head around mental ray. that and my tutors hadnt a clue how to use it ether.

Can't wait for a better detailed MKV. Is this a Halo 3 version, or another Halo version?

Yeah MR it's a bitch in it's own right. Controlling everything from the GI, to making a proper MR glass material that light will pass through for MR... sucks. That helmet is so dope looking!!!

I voted for a Bicep and now i'm looking at robogenesis' bicep and wishing I would have voted for the groin/butt plate. Just cause I haven't seen one

FS- I think I realized something that might help. In front view the jaw appears to incline in slightly like V, above the jaw at a slightly different inclination the top half appears to /\ slightly. I can't remember if I mentioned that in my PM. If I did, just ignore my rambling.

my god you do have a lot on your plate at the moment. maby i should wait a while before releasing j/k. i does have the new maps but i havnt been messin around on them too much. better get too it. i should be on tonight.

yea, i tryed to learn it ones and decided that faking GI in scanline would be soooooo much easier... it was.

hahaha, but your very good at it. yea, i realy want to do the gauntlet because, well, the space diper is just a space diper and theres little bit in the gauntlet that look like they'll be fun to model. the dipers not that hard and its not a very important peice in the sence of what people will be looking at.

Just got it today, cost me $99 in australia to get one but it looks sweeet although anyone else notice with flash photography you can sometimes make out your face if you look closer?

just gonna put a clear plastic cut over the top to give it the duel effect. no way i'm gonna buy another one :-(

Finished fiberglassing the legs hands and wrists today. Takes about 1m^2 of fiberglass mat to do those, had to stop lol coz I ran out, I'll post pics tomorrow coz i finished at like 10pm at night. its midnight and i went out to see them and they are rock hard :-D just lotsa little fibers hanging out all over the place lol. ichy as hell stupid fiberglass

and thats the full size mark VI handplate. So that spiders as big as a normal mans hand. bug-a-phobia. I was tempted to put on the helmet and headbut it, just to see if the visor is shatterproof
