note, there are more pics in my photobucket

next up is making the tighs smaller and try to get the chestpiece not to move up (because the pods make it heavier in the back, the front slides up)

when thats done i still need to make the belt, forearms and shins

thanks for watching and leave a comment:)

update time, made 1 shin piece,

but i got in a bit of trouble, the shin is too loose, so i just connected the back without some foamies.
you'll see in the pics,

The underarmor is pretty kickass! I like how you also made every knob and hole right. How did you do these little screw-like cuts in the foam? I guess you took the cap of a pen or marker and pressed it against the foam, but I wouldn't really know.

That is a great looking blue, really sticks out compared to all the other halo 4 suits I have seen so far.

i have a pen that heats up to make woodcarvings and such, when it is hot you gently push it in the foam and the foam melts is that shape, will post pics of it.

whats the hexagonal piece you used for the gloves, its pretty kick ass.

i used lycra (stretchy fabric) and printed out the hexa patern with a plotter onto a thermoplastic sheet for prints on tshirts.
and then just cut out and glue/sew on the gloves

yay, all the pieces are made, but this is not finished yet,
next step is weathering the armor like the helmet, installing fans in the helmet and add some more details.

2 picture time:

Very nice work, I am liking your choice of blue. Also your nonna is awesome for helping you out.

Whoa. Looks great. The blue works really well.

And....Dat under suit. Awesome work tag teaming with grandma. The sheen to the material used for the undersuit was quite thoughtful I can see. Normally that can work against a costume (look cheap) but it really compliments your scheme.

I may be seeing it wrong, but the thigh piece seem a bit larger in proportion than the rest of the pieces ? (Oh my god those calf pieces are a beaut).
