Currently the only credit I have is that of designer, and of all the awesome props in the film, I've yet to be responsible for any of them! Downside of being off in the military. When I return, I hope to be able to take a more active role, but that's all currently being worked out. Until then, I'm just doing my part for PR and getting the word out.

I agree, an extra pair of eyes is always helpful, and I personally appreciate the feedback and the time put in to writing it. I'll pass your feedback along to the VFX guys and hopefully the finished product will be something you all enjoy. :)

Well one thing people need to understand we are doing this shoot to show the action we can do. so if things are not 100% its due to this is not the real film. this shot should be about 1:30 or so which we are tryin to get out to you fans ASAP. so if filters are not up to full standards right now we are sorry. we just want to get it out to you all the full film is 15-18 min, which we will take our time on the VFX, ad if you go to our FB page we just uploaded new Ring photos which is looking sexy as all hell... and thank you so much Daniel for the PR that is one thing you are damn good at......

wait only 15-18 mins? heck halo faith was going to be 30 mins couldn't you guys get a little closer to their time like maybe 20-24 mins it wouldn't be that hard would it, heck i'm planning to my full lenght tv eqoides, thats 45 mins and i'm not sure how long chasity is going to be but it's over an hour. all together i bet their's a full 6 hours of live action halo films out there, and that's good for us. but i would like to see something longer. i know you guys possably won't be able to and thats alright because i'm starting to get scared about my own film.

The length of the final product is subject to change. If we feel we have the material and ability to release a longer film on schedule, we will definitely attempt it. However at this point, prior to filming even beginning, it is far too early to pin down a specific running time.

right now we are more worried about getting the armor and props done and finishing the script. if we have time and funds we may add more but Faith was only goin to be 12 min long. and 15-18 is a lot of footage to clean up add VFX and everything else. there is alot of work that goes int this stuff not just shooting the live footage and then just say its done.....

Series, who is the primary script writer, is currently focusing on the VFX teaser 2. I will get more details on the status of the script after the teaser is released.

The script is definitely not something that will neglected, but for the time being it is being set to the side until we can give it the focus it warrants. Right now we are focusing on putting out a product that will showcase the level of quality viewers can expect from our VFX team unde a tight production schedule.

Trooper, if you feel that the guys need some help, 2D animation is my specialty, so just suggest it to xerxes if you could. I can rotoscop all of your covenant/marine fire, and pull very good keys. just to let you know.

As far as I am aware, we do not currently have any need for additional VFX crew. However, if you have a demo reel/portfolio and a small resume detailing your experience, I can keep it on file for when we may need additional team members.

This goes for anyone else that is just generally interested in helping out (actors, vfx crew, script writers, prop makers, camera crew, etc.). While we are not currently expanding our crew, if you are interested in being added to a list of possible future cast/crew, just send me the above requested items to:

yuan.daniel (@) gmail.com

or send me a PM

Please make the subject "Halo: The Fallen Application for [Position]".

When we are officially casting and looking for additional crew, I will also be sure to make mention of it here.

Dude, is there any possible way you can talk about The Fallen(or any other of the other fan films on the forum for that matter) without having to talk about your film? It has honestly been the same bloody thing everytime you post.

PLEASE keep it your posts on topic. If you have something to say about your film, keep it in YOUR thread and not hijack another group's thread. It's disrespectful.

Foxleader. Seriously. You need to stop hi-jacking other people's threads. If it happens again, I will notify the Mods.

Re: The Grenade Launcher

Reach takes place prior to the events of Halo, so it would be reasonable if a grenade launcher did appear.

"The M319 IGL (more formally Individual Grenade Launcher, Caliber 40mm, M319) is a single shot, break-action, grenade launcher firing 40mm ammunition. Because of its simplicity, ruggedness, and firepower, the M319 has been a mainstay within the UNSC Army’s arsenal since its official adoption in 2263."

If we choose to utilize it in the film, it would be within canon for it to appear. As seen at the end of Halo: Reach, the Marines of the Pillar of Autumn were using scavanged Army material as needed, and it wouldn't be unreasonable to figure they snagged a few grenade launchers.

With the M45 shotgun appearing in Halo: CEA, there's certainly a precedent for Marines using Army weapons when they can get their hands on them.
