Same here - scaled down some stuff and the tabs were barely there (1.5mm). Just have to make sure you check the size of the tabs before you print. I usually put mine at 5mm.

Is that on the boot? The left boot says the tabs are 1.8mm for some reason, where they are actually 3.0mm. Try changing the size to 3mm and the tabs don't change.
If you have to scale the boot much, you might want to go to the flap configuration and change the flap size to 3mm or 5mm. I've been trying to change the flap sizes to 5mm now, but I might still accidently change them to 3mm.

I'm almost done with the hand plate. I think I'll still smooth it out a little bit, and then I'll start unfolding.

are you still going to do the chest? because fs released a pretty good one and i know you werent going to do a helmet because fs made a good one of those too.

I don't know. FS's if pretty good, so I'll focus on the other pieces first, then maybe the chests and helmet

I think I've finished the hand plate. Now I just need to unfold it.

Hand plates are now up! They come with the high detail hand plates, and the tester ones (which are actually just the standard H3 hand plates). I have also re-organized the first post to make it easier to read.

I love FS's helmet and chest, so I think I'll just wait on those, and do the other pieces first. DF4L's helmet is pretty good too, don't like all the tabs personally though. But slyfo's models, well, they aren't good at all IMO, even for unmodified ones. He hasn't deleted all the correct faces, there's open edges everywhere, and the models that are in separate pieces (Shoulder & bicep, CQB helmet, etc.) aren't put into one piece.

Anyway, FS's files are pretty good. Any model he does, I won't. I'll do all the models that haven't had high def versions out, then if I still haven't destroyed my computer or completely given up on 3D, then I might redo the models he's already done.

Well, actually no one seems to have done any high def piece, other than the helmet, and FS just make a chest piece. I think he might also be making the "space diaper" next.

I am currently working on the bicep piece, and will post pics of the progress later today. Then I'll do, well, I'm not really sure what I'll do next. I just finish one piece, then make the next piece that I feel like.

After I finish the bicep, I feel like making the forearm, then maybe the thigh, lower leg, crotch plate, then either a chest and helmet, or start on the perms.

Well, I told FS how to scale his models the way I did (your hieght in inches), with the numbers to do it, whether or not he uses it, or figures it out, I don't know.

I plan on doing the helmet eventually, I just don't know when. I think I'll do all the other Mk VI pieces first, except the chest, which I *might* do last.
BTW. I think you should love us high-def modelers . Think of the bright side. You made a helmet, but a better one comes out, so you make that, so now you have two helmets, which you can use to make a Chief gang, or sell it for extra funds.

As I've said several times before (maybe a few pages back though), I'm starting with all the Mk VI armor, followed by the beta perms because the retail models aren't out yet. As soon as the retail models come out, I'll start making those (Probably starting with the ODST?)
