I decided to make a knife for my odst based off of my favorite knife, I'm pretty happy with how it came out I might need to fix up the blade a bit, but all in all I would say it's pretty good, I'm planning on attaching it to my left gauntlet, kinda like how hunter has his knife from the bad batch.

Started to work on the leg/knee piece, hopefully I'll be able to finish it before Friday.

Agreed - sometimes it can be very tricky to get clean foam work when working with hot glue, but you're doing well!

Started some work on the shins, well finish them tomorrow.

Finished the shins, I also decided to add a back peace to it by using the same template but smaller than the shins and turning it up side down, just to make it look more complete from the back. Might have to do some touch ups to them later, but I think there ok for now.

Got the foot done, I decided to extended the template for it by 3 inches, and use the original one for the heel, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I only got the hips and wrist left to build!!!

Finished the wrists it took me all day, but I'm happy with how they came out,now I just have the hips left to build!!

I started to work on the hips, but since dft files don't have anything for the hips I decided to try to sketch my own using this image.

This is what I ended up making for my hip template I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, I'll see if I'm able to cut it out, and see how it looks on foam tonight after work.

Your template looks great! The ODST hips have a shield like design, but they do have a small cut in starting about on the lower quarter of the design and ending on the upper quarter of the design. There is a Pepakura file for this piece in the armory, here's the link!

This is all looking so good! I’m doing a DFT build right now too. I like the hip template you made. I’ll probably come back and peek at that when I get there. Have you decided what colors you’re going to paint it yet?
