Wow! This is looking great! I like you and your wife's choice of color, purple and red compliment each other really well. I look forward to see your upcoming progress, and did you ever figure out how you were gonna mount your shoulder pads?

Not sure what you mean? Do you mean how am I gonna mount them yo the chest or how I will mount the shoulder attachments to the biceps?
If you meant the first one I was thinking of doing.something like how I did my space marine, by parachute clipping the bicep to the shoulder area of the chest ti make sure it stays where I want it to. And if you meant the second question I was thinking about just bolting the piece to the bicep itself, or fusing it on with bondo or something. If you didn't mean either of those let me know man.

No I meant the second one. I was just curious because you had mentioned you weren't too sure how to do it at the beginning of the thread. But thanks for answering my question, I'll probably do the detachable method I mentioned earlier so I can switch out if I want.

Yeah I think I will do that too with bolts, it will probably be lighter too

That's just my luck, I'm practically finished with my chest piece and all I had was a couple areas I needed to dremel before I split the chest and my dremel died. Well I ordered a new one and will hopefully get back on track soon. In the meantime I will harden the parts I have pep'd out until I can get back to sanding.

Gave my wife the option of any of the Halo weapons to choose from as props for her costume. Her choices were the Reach shotgun, needler and plasma pistol. The needler will be cool since it compliments her armor color choice, but since she has said she wants them I now have my work cut out for me. This is gonna be fun!

Was really busy today, managed to get all the rest of the upper body parts glassed today.

Gonna be another busy week, my afternoons after work this week will be filled with finishing up my wife's chest piece and finishing up the biceps and shoulders to top off the upper body stuff.
My wife is going to make me up some pouches to go on my chest to go with that tactical pouch look, I still have some stuff to pep out still but for the most part I am coming up on the end of that.........YAY. Stay tuned

Got my wife's boots scaled and tested

Now all that's left to do is my right thigh and right shin as well as my boots to pep and then I'm done with paper!
