Hey everyone! Very excited to be here, I had a fellow 405th buddy bring me into the fold recently with our last two con visits. Was lucky enough to catch a 405th panel on armor building, great job on that btw Barry! Was directed to the site to start my journey with it all. Hope to get to meet some cool people while here, and hopefully in the future at some cons as well!

What do you hope to learn here?: Hoping to meet some cool people, and check out the armory that was mentioned at the 405th armor building panel! Really excited to see what options are available to make some really cool armor!
Have you built/made a costume before?: Never, but I have gotten closer with a buddy helping him suit up! Bonding is strange.
Do you belong to any other costume communities? If so, which one(s)?: Not currently, but something tells me 405th might be my home stay

Hey all! I've known about the 405th for years, but was never really in a position to do any sort of costuming in any capacity, until recently. I've wanted to make my own suit of armor for years, and I am finally taking the plunge!

Favorite part of Halo: Mostly the great memories, but the IWHBYD dialog was just too good across every game

Favorite Video Game: It will forever and always be Halo first, and Banjo Kazooie coming in 2nd by a very narrow margin

Other Interests: Currently attending school to be a gunsmith, want to open a small shop on the weekends to do some restoration work on old military surplus rifles/pistols. In line with gunsmithing, I do enjoy going to the range. I enjoy drawing/painting, working on trying to branch into digital art. Painting miniatures for 40k, playing every once in a very blue moon. Recently got back into Magic the Gathering.

What do you hope to learn here?: How to use different methods to make suits of Armor, and what the best ways of using those methods are. Also doing some wiring, speakers, mics, lights etc...
