Rondo is great for doing helms with a bill as it gets in there better than fiberglass but you have to be careful not to let it get to thick in there or it makes the helm front heavy. I'm almost ready to paint this just s few more touch ups around the visor area and she is ready.

Your pepping is too damn good. HOW!? Do you have like a laser cutter and gluer or something?

Nope just a xacto knife and some white glue, just take your time and it all works out. Had a miss hap with this project, it fell off the bench and almost snapped the the jaw off. So for those of you building this helm make sure you put extra fiberglass or rondo in and around that area just in case. Once I get a few pics of the damage I'll add them. The part that makes me mad is I already started the paint job....total bummer.
