Normally I don't like this helmet in the game cause I just think it's plain weird looking. What you've done though makes it look hella mean looking. Great job.

Damn dude, you guys gotta stop making such awesome work, it distracts me from making our Mk 6 suits!
As soon as I finish mine, I'm going crazy.

Sweet photoshop, Adam. Additional generic compliment, Se7en.

I agree with that. That's how I felt about Hayabusa before Sigma made one.

Thanks all! I appreciate the compliments. I do plan to buy a visor today (ebay, hopefully) and get it in soon. I will have updated pics with a decent light source so you can see everything better, as soon as possible :D .

Get a visor in it, and take some shots in sunlight. Its looking awesome..elite even.
Elite...wow...
Heh. I was wondering where my post got off too. Don't know if it is deserved, but ultimately appreciated! Thank you very much, NZ!

yay for elite forum, never would have seen this otherwise. Looks good. I'd love to see scale and outdoor shots. This should be molded.
I'd love to mold it. I've been watching every vid I can get my greedy little hands on for this subject, so i can do it RIGHT and not waste cash. I fear it is not truly a worthy subject, however, as it is somewhat disproportionate, as you will see in better light. Thanks for being the first picture in the google search of Mjolnir Armor that lead me here. Oh, yeah...that photoshop was nice. Hopefully the armor i make will turn out well enough to justify the helmet. Heh.

Well your going to have to make us a video so we can see, but to be honest, your probably the only one who will notice its disproportionate. The problem with making something is your going to know every little spot that didn't come out just right, and your going to be overly critical, I've heard adam say his armor was not very good from time to time.

BTW, great choice in color!

Thanks guys. I have a question of any one, however...
Should i continue this thread for the armor ( hmmmm, the name would be strange) or should i make a new thread for that progress? I dunno what to do....heh

looks good...yet i tell you all the time. I must say it does look good in the sun. I looked at it this afternoon. ..one more day of curing and i'll be able to add my weathering...hate your face ....

I'd say start a new thread for the armour in the relevant section, this areas is more to showcase completed, nearly completed stuff of high quality

Yeah, as much as we are for not making multiple topics on armor, this is one of those situations where it would probably be better to go that route.

Just out of curiosity, what was your procedure for painting? The texture you have is really what I'm trying to get at with my finished pieces (when I actually build them...).

Sensational work, this is definitely a medium that you've taken well to!

Cool. I figured as much, but wasn't exactly sure. I don't have much started on the rest, but i wanted to be sure. Thanks

Basically, I primed like a madman, sanded, repeat. When I was satisfied I sprayed like 2 to 3 coats of red gloss enamel and let that cure/flash off whatever you call it. Basically waited a day before weathering. From there I used Adam's weathering technique with rustoleum dark primer and hammered silver. Painting Tutorial/ Procedures This will show you everything better than I could describe.

Everything you can replicate from a videogame with exact details is unfrickin' believable!
This made my morning. ;D
Hey, thanks a bunch. Far from exact but I appreciate it nonetheless! Glad you liked it!

See, now if that photoshop is real life... That'd be hella scary to meet in a dark alley.

Don't worry bout the weathering/battle damage, looks great to me :-D

Thanks. The more I look at it, the more it grows on me. Kinda like a tumor or fungus. lol

By the way, I ordered my visor and it should be arriving late this week, so I shall have the updated pics by the end of the week. A little concerned about cutting it to fit, so hopefully it will go smoothly!

Awesome. It feels good to know I can inspire someone here, as everyone else has done for me. Love to see what you come up with.
