ah well, when i used godaddy to search, the www.405th.com was taken so I bought UNSC-405th.com

And I really like that idea of the comment system. Make things much easier to manage on a day to day basis I think.

Here's how the 501st does this ^ ^ ^

They have you join the garrison nearest to your location.

I'm in the tyranus garrison (virginia garrison)
So I have the tyranus garrison patch. It's a patch with the tyranus logo.

So those banners your having everybody make. Turn them into patches for each regiment.

Now, they also have a lanyard for the Commanding officers of the garrison.

I believe that to be a commanding officer, you must have one costume.

Then, the 501st has cards...check this out : http://www.501st.com/cards.php

Each member gets his own card made with his armor or armor's if he has multiple.

So we could do it a little differently.

Instead of a card, have a....(insert idea here)

Thirdly, we have to get the guys who made the halo series on this site as honorary members : take a look at this : http://www.501st.com/honorary.php


The 501st, has george lucas as an honorary member, so why can't we have for instance martin o' donnel as an honorary member of the 405th?

Now, the 501st has specifically gotten George Lucas's permission to make these costumes, but the money part has been kept under wraps.

We should make an attempt to get bungie's permission maybe?

We could have detachments based on types of armor

ODST detachment

Marine detachment

Master Chief detachment

Arbiter/elite detachment

etc...etc

Then for garrisons, be the same thing as regiment.

The virginia regiment. Which could have a nickname as well if wanted.....

Etc..etc


Lastly to join, we should make something similar to this....it's a page they fill in and send to us

We should make our own version, and have different age rules. And possibly different costume rules?

That...is something we are trying to figure out I believe.

okay, but i believe whoever is the site's artist should make the regiment badge, and the should all look similar, but different names and mabey colors, as for cards, we should just have the dog tag idea that tells everything, (armor class, regiment, spartan #, rank ect.) as for the the honorable thing thats fine, oh and I would be glad to be the Commanding officer for the California Regiment!
