okay, but i believe whoever is the site's artist should make the regiment badge, and the should all look similar, but different names and mabey colors, as for cards, we should just have the dog tag idea that tells everything, (armor class, regiment, spartan #, rank ect.) as for the the honorable thing thats fine, oh and I would be glad to be the Commanding officer for the California Regiment!

I don't think we have a specific site artist. But maybe we could get (or commission) one of the artists here to design some. Or we could base them off of the 7th ODST (Battalion? Company?)'s patch. Since not everyone's going to be cosplaying a Spartan I'm looking into how actual military ID numbers are generated and trying to find what the text for the ones in "Arms Race" were and infer a style from them. Rank'll be interesting. I'm thinking, to start out, those people that are most involved in "getting **** done" around here would be candidates. Not sure if you'd recognize the Armorers with rank advancements as well, or if they'll be in their own Division or something.

It's a good idea. "Buckey Regiment" is probably too.... Non-HALO.

I'd be down for a set of dog tags as well.

i think $20 and include the tags and a card set, heck maybee even a key chain. And for the garison also have vinal stickers to go on your armor. and for the names we should have something standard like the tk thing and let the members have the oprotunity to pick there own number (excluding 117, leave it for master chief or an honorary member)
and on the site can you have all the sites link to the same page so if you type in 405th or unsc405th or usnc405th or what ever

(and to make extra money for the site everybody needs to click on the ads a bunch)

that just my 73 cents :lindsey:

I'll be happy enough to work on anything you guys need done (except web page building and the like). Shoot, I'd like to try to design some regiment patches for you guys. Just give me some specifics on how you think they should look, and I'll whip up a couple of ideas for you guys. The dog tag idea with the info right on them sounds great too.

Fitz, how're you in the 501st, i thought you had to be 18. :Steve:

Also, I also think the dog tag thing is cool.
We wouldnt want our own group to be an exact copy of the 501st.
I mean, then we wouldn't seem original at all.

true thats why i like the unsc-405th.com name better it doesnt look we are trying to copy them

look at http://www.cobracares.com website they all try to make it out to dragoncon and they march in the parade like a real military group...they also have rankings and special unit patches

So what exactly have you guys agreed on? like the website url, age limit (with looks like it's leaning towards 16), rank, assining a number, do we need a complete set of armor, member ship fee? i just really would like to know.

You do have to be 18...but since I make clone trooper armor...I'm "affiliated"

And we definetly don't want to copy...the 501st is always making a big deal about other groups that try to emulate them, as far as I've seen. This has to be our own thing.

should have a completed set of armor....would be nice

Well you can't say that, at least there should be an affiliated group because considering that there are not many people with a full set of armor out there you may want to lower the specifications a bit...

but then again, if it is going to be a req, then that might give people that extra umph of motivation to get theirs finished.

"Regimental" and "Support."

Regimental have (made or bought) suits.

Support don't, but are involved just as much as the Regimental.

An "Armorer" sub-group or separate division might be good as well.

"Master Gun's Armorers" or "Songnam Arms." I'm partial to the latter.
