Where do you live? (I'm totally not coming over there to steal everything.:rolleyes)

Great job, Carp! Have you thought of molding and casting the parts for trade? ;)

Is that panel a metal plate?

Edit: Also, how will you attach the left shoulder piece?

The panel is actually styrene plastic from a For Sale sign. It's attached with 3/4" bolts. I'll be attaching the left shoulder piece pretty much the same way (but no back panel). I'll post pictures of the attachments some time.

I had thought about it, but I don't have the money needed for material to begin that sort of operation. Maybe someday.

Nice attachment O.O
Mine is a bit wierd, aka it sags a little on one side
Edit: BTW, how do you scale the helmet?
I cant figure out what data to enter in which place
Should the chin-top of head measurements go in height?
Should ear-to-ear go in width?
Should nose to back of the head go in depth?
Please clear up this issue
Thanks

Well, I've got the pistol mostly done. I'd really like to make an assault rifle (specifically my unfold of Rid3r's AR). But time will determine if that's possible.

Could someone please please please please please please please please please please answer my question on the middle of page 13?
And Carpath, you have enough time to make the assault rifle from reach, the release is in 2 months, and your nearly done with your armor.

And by any chance, are you romanian?
Since your name makes me think of the Carpathian Mountains in Romania

Any one of those seem viable, but the best I've come up with is the chin to top of head measurement (adding a few centimeters for padding) entered into the height column. And, no I'm not nearly done wih my armor. I still have a LOT of work left. there's still the legs to be resined, I have to harden the belt and the legs then I have to bondo the chest belt and legs, do some repair work on the left gauntlet and get them bondoed, then I have to paint, pad, strap and then there's the undersuit to worry about. Lot's of work.

I'm gonna guess and say you didn't use bondo on the outside of the helmet

As stated, the helmet still needs a little work, but there isn't a lot of bondo on the outside right now.

No, I had to rescale it. My head is about 28 cm tall from chin to the top of my head, so I add about 2 cm for padding, coming up with a heigh of 30 cm. This is what I do with all my helmets (with a few exceptions). I just enter 30 cm (or in pep 3's case 300 mm) in the height column in the scaling option.

your build is going amazing!!! it is going to look amazing when it is done, can't wait to see more pics and finished :)

Sorry to bother again, but how do you measure it from chin to top of the head?
Do you just line it up?
Or you hold the ruler against your face from chin to the top of your head?

What I did was held a ruler with very clear marking against the front of my head and took a picture and judged how tall my head was from the picture. That was only because, at the time, I didn't have anyone to help out, if you have someone to do it for you, it's tons easier.

Small update very soon.

Ok, not much of an update, but I've gotten EVERYTHING resined! Including a few new pieces...

Here's the boot covers and two new parts, I'll get into later, and you can just see the knees...

I added the detail pieces to the back of the torso and resined over them...

The shins...

And the thighs (they're in a tub to prevent them from being blown over by the wind)...

(Continued on next post)

I've pepped a new top attachment for my pistol...

I had forgotten about the forearm attachment, so I pepped it today and here it is, curing...

That's all I've got resined, here's a quick picture of all the parts...

Next, I've got to harden all the parts I resined today and the belt, then bondo and onto painting. Keep watching and let me know what you think!

You are moving FAST, man! Everything looks great so far. I'm trying to think of something else to say, but really, just... top notch job on everything so far. I don't think I even have any minor nitpicks, and that's rare for me.
