@Mstruvmgc- yeah, I'm kind of short, so I'll take a few inches wherever I can get them! Plus, I find that that a properly scaled shin sits much better on a raised heel...really

Since I still have plenty of time before MegaCon, i've decided to redesign my Reach Armor for my friend as his in-game armor. He is already coming to the con with me, which happens to land on his birthday, but the suit will be a surprise. I'll be adding the second security shoulder and a foam Commando helmet and I'll be repainting it green. He's gonna go nuts when he sees it.

Of course! I just unfolded a commando helmet for foam...

I plan on having the second shin and boot built today, painted tomorrow. I am also working on a new idea for undersuit details, I think you guys will really dig it. Gotta love the dollar store.

CHEFBZD'S SUPER AWESOME $8 UNDERSUIT OF EPIC AWESOMENESS TUTORIAL-AL-Al-al....(that was an echo)

Materials: Kitchen non slip grip roll, $2 at the dollar store
Grey upholstery fake leather stuff...this was $6 for a 5'x12" piece at joann fabrics
Scissors, Super glue, hot glue
