Did a little work on the undersuit today. Made the pieces that go on the hips...



Also started strapping today, I'm gonna run some thick black stretch band down the spine (which I will cover up with some vinyl spine details) to the butt plate, and have straps run from the but plate to the back of the thighs. I will then connect the shins to the thighs the same way I did with my reach armor. The butt plate and thighs will also be attached to the suit with industrial strength velcro...I think that should do the trick...

Although the legs on your friend look like they need some padding on the inside to make then fit better. That or its just becuase they were not adjusted properly for the picture lol.

Your suit looks great by the way. When can we expect a helmet?

I have a question about your foam cutting techniques, excuse me if I read over it. I know that you use X-acto Z series blade but how often do you switch them out?

As often as necessary, really...haha...i go through a lot of blades. I can say that the z-series last at least twice as long as the standard ones.
